Err no. Sephardic means ‘Spain’ in Hebrew and refers to Jewish people who have their cultural background in Spain, Portugal, North Africa and parts of the Middle East.
There are only 2 types of Jews- Ashkenazi which comprise 85% of Israel and the Sephardics period. All the rest are tribes or offshoots.
