And return the hostages. I still don’t understand their October 7th massacre’s end goal. Is it possible for Hamas to be so delusional to think they could hold on to power after that? I mean, they killed 1200 Israelis and foreigners in Israel on that day. All for what, so that they could get the strip pounded into a moon crate, lose 20K plus of their own, and end up with a humanitarian crisis of unprecedented proportions? This has got to have been the biggest miscalculation – to put it politely, any government could have made in modern history. The only explanation I can come up with is that their hatred is greater than their ability to think/act rationally. Clearly, the odds were completely against them unless they were counting on their buddies in Lebanon and/or Iran to join them. Even if that had been the case, the US and UK would have jumped in on Israel’s defense and vanquish them all. So, their whole plan was destined to fail from the start. How wasteful not to mention idiotic.
