Responding to your first paragraph generally, I can only tell you that you have a very different understanding of God than I do. My understanding is derived from: Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”… and Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” So I do not see God as “evolving” since evolution beyond perfection would be a contradiction in terms. As for man’s “evolution”, I would refer to that as devolving rather than evolving….since it is change and any change away from the standards of an unchanging perfect God would be a retrograde movement, rather than progress.
Take the “rights of atheist” issue you mentioned: It is covered in the first chapter of Romans. In the case of atheists, they have no excuse because just from creation alone, you can observe that God’s power is eternal and there is one multi-part God that created everything and is reflected in what you can see. So someone with no bible can still figure out that there is a God and know something of God’s nature just from observing the 3 dimensions of the space around them, the fact that time itself is divided into past, present, and future, the fact that everything seen comes in 3 primary colors, the fact that the world around him consists of land, air, and sea, and it is filled with physical objects made of animal, vegetable, or minerals, when you look up into the sky you see suns, moons, and stars. Yes creation is much more complex when you use tools…inside atoms you find protons, neutrons, and electrons, and inside of those there are all other sub atomic particles, but you don’t see those are not “clearly seen” as referenced in Romans 1:20. The verse didn’t say Atheists have an excuse if they just lacked the proper tool. It said all you need to discover God is just what can be clearly seen. Again, over in Psalms 19:1 it says “…The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” The problem though isn’t lack of evidence for atheists…its a heart problem (Psalms 14:1). Its a demand that God submit to their demand for evidence prior to belief, and God won’t let you be God and set the criteria for faith that He established as the “evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1). Sure a person has the option of playing stubborn and insisting that God do things their way and THEN they will submit and believe. But that is not a wise option because God doesn’t back down. In 2 Kings 19:35 it mentions an angel killing 185,000 people in one night…far beyond human capability, but even as powerful as they are, God doesn’t give even them as special pass on submitting. A full third of the angels who followed Lucifer got kicked out of heaven.
Do you actually think any type of “evolving” is going to change where God has already said they are going? I wouldn’t take that bet if I were you.
