After the 1973 war, the Jews understood that as long as Egypt remained as their enemy that the Jews could never feel secure living in Palestine and therefore they made an arrangement for America to pay billions of dollars to Egypt as bribe money so that the Jews would never again feel threatened by any groups from Egypt!
