Israel is a small country and cannot fight a long war. We fought 3 armies plus in 1967 with a quick and decisive plan. 1973 is similar to now and we defeated 2 armies after a set back.
It would seem that the IDF is inundated with Left wing higher echelon officers who are not prepared to do what is necessary and are still in Oslo mode. You need to go in at this time full blast and stop worrying about being humanitarian or enemy casualties.
If the USA does not supply you with smart bombs, which are useless in an actual war, than use dumb heavy bombs that can be manufactured in Israel. Just saturate any place from where rockets are fired or from where snipers fire at you.
