A question of time. Eventually the combat will reduce to a minimum, and the jihadi promises of launching repeats of 7October, will become harder and harder to realise. For now it is only eight months of war. There are still many jihadi combatants active. So less than another eighteen months or two years seems improbable. The jihadis seem dedicated and many will fight until martyrdom. They cherish the moment to sit back with Soleimani and chat about lessons learnt.
