Were British imperialists the “victims” when they were expelled from nations around the world? Were the Germans “victims” to others when they were expelled from countries all over Europe? How about when the Japanese who were killed during WW2? Victims? How about the Mongol empire? Victims?
Apparently the Ottomans were the only empire in the world that were “victims” when others booted them from their own homelands. It’s that exact narrative that the Turkish state peddles that has poisoned relations with all its neighbors. The British on the other hand recognize what they did was wrong.
