To call EU “anti-Imperislist” is ridiculous as EU has supported every American and NATO initiated war around the world which are always on behalf of the West’s wealthy and elites. This is just a continuation of the West’s colonial ideology in a post-colonial world. EU’s ideology is actually an undemocratic soft form of authoritarianism which leaves the average European citizen powerless hence the rise of far right who the racists within Europe exploit. EU’s political establishment soupports immigration if not mass immigration, as it keeps wages down and increases profits for the wealthy which is the ultimate goal of EU. What EU needs to do is to drop its neo-colonial mindset because this will also reduce immigration as there will be a less need for immigration in a fairer world. This will also keep the far right at bay.
