Lord Balfour agreed in principle for more Jews to go back to then Palestine (so called Mandate for) on the understanding that: ‘…nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine’.
Oh dear, well that didn’t work out too well did it. Luckily the lease runs out in 2024.
