Hamas is a branch of the antisemitic Muslim Brotherhood and it (Hamas) was formed in 1987. In 1947 Haj Amin al Husseyni and his cousin Jamal led the Arab Liberation Army against Israel. Hussayni was a pompous self absorbed self taught corrupt racist who dropped out of Al Azhar university in the 1910s, not even completing a single year and instead affiliated himself and absorbed the ideology of an earlier version of that same brotherhood. That same Husseyni incited the 1929 pogroms against Jews in Jerusalem, Safed, Hebron and Gaza using false claims that the Jews had destroyed al Alqsa. That same Husseyni, along with the Syrian terrorist Izzadin al Qassam orchestrated the bloody so called “Arab Revolt” of 1936-39 while using the “cause” violently extort funds from the local populace, killing many of those who opposed him and using al Aqsa as a torture chamber. That same Hussayni then fled to Iraq where he allied himself to the pro-Nazi “Golden Square” instigating another pogrom against Iraqi Jews during the “Golden Square’s” short lived coup, killing some 200 Jewish civilians. Hussayni then, dressed as a woman, fled to Nazi Germany. The Germans, sensing another Quisling, offered Husseyni along with fellow “Golden Square” collaborator al-Galiani, a leadership role in a post Nazi victory Arab World and promised Husseyni a “final solution” to the “Jewish Problem” in Palestine along with plans to build an extermination camp in the outskirts of Ramallah.
When the Nazis lost the war Husseyni fled to the Arab world while Jamal became the titular head of Arab Palestine’s reactionary forces, the “Arab Liberation Army” (ALA) while representing them at the United Nations. Following the 1948 war against the Jews, Husseyni secluded himself in Lebanon. His last notable action was to orchestrate the assassination of Abdulla I of Jordan, a rival Arab leader who had successfully taken control of the west bank.
From 1949-87 the Islamic aspect of Arab opposition to Israel was lay dormant and discredited. Replacing it was Arab Nationalism and supremacism led by Nasser who, along with Soviet KGB head Yuri Andopov, engineered and designed the PLO. According to Soviet defector General Ion Mihael Pacepa, Adropov saw that “the Islamic world was a waiting petri dish in which we could nurture a virulent strain of America hatred, grown from the bacterium of Marxist-Leninist thought. Islamic anti-Semitism ran deep. The Muslims had a taste for nationalism, jingoism, and victimology. Their illiterate, oppressed mobs could be whipped up to a fever pitch.”
