First of all, the Jews of Israel are the only religious and ethnic minority in the MENA region with the full right of self determination. The banner of Islam flies over 99.9% of the Middle East and North African land mass, just look at the map. All members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at the United Nations.
Second, the geographical Palestine has changed hands many times over the last two thousand years. Europe, the Middle East, and Africa shared the Mediterranean Sea for thousands of years, to include slave trading, wars, merchandise trade, and intermarriage. There is more mixed blood and cultures in the Mediterranean then anywhere else in the world.
