I understand the heavy emotional weight this war has placed upon the families, but Netanyahu’s job description demands that he protect Israel for the greater good of all the citizens. Hamas purposely and intentionally invited Israel into Gaza on Oct 7, 2023 by way of a genocidal massacre of Israelis and the rounding up of hundreds of hostages of all ages, and said: “There will be many more Oct 7’s to come”, leaving Netanyahu with no choice but to continue until Hamas lays down their arms and releases all the hostages. That option has been on the table for over 15 months.
