Re: Famine imminent in northern Gaza amid Israel’s closure of crossings, media office warns

IDF pre inspections allow relief that falls into categories of food, water, medical supplies and shelters; but other relief would be at risk of being manipulated by the Gazan war-machine.

In the 232 days since the invasion of Negev, almost 398,000 tons of humanitarian aid, on 21,000 lorries has entered Gaza. 398,000 tons divided by 232 days is 1715 tons of humanitarian aid per day on the average. 21000 trucks divided by 232 days is 90 lorries per day on the average.

In the 232 days 279,000 tons of food have entered Gaza, which means 1202 tons of food per day. There are currently 21 mega bakeries in Gaza, supplied by the WFP, that are capable of producing more 2 million pitas, rolls and other breads per day.
