These radical elements really do create chaos and polarise situations, which is not helpful during a war. Those politicians that spur on the fringe radicals amongst the settlers to act out violently against the local Palestinians, is an example of being counter productive. Side lining them would help. Perhaps they could be assigned latrine duty for the IDF soldiers.
