There are more Palestinians today because they have high fertility rate not for lack of Israel trying to push them out since its in its nation building phrase (although no doubt Palestinians would have done the same if better armed). The real reason why many Jews want Arabs out of Israel is because for any democratic ethnic based state to remain that way it has to have a demographic advantage at the polls.
This isn’t just an Israel issue though.. There is a game being played globally in nations around the world Cry persecution when living as minority that is treated as unequal in someone else’s homeland,.. switch to treating minorities as invaders and second class citizens in one’s own homeland,,
Even in the US, a state based supposedly on purely citizenship, this game has started to take hold with the formation of unhyphenated American identity. Many unhyphenated Americans today fear a lost of identity to migrants even though they themselves are descendants of migrants.
The so-called “human rights’ groups (aka leftists) think they can get around this typical human behavior by simply flooding people’s nations with migrants. What they don’t understand is when someone see’s their identity under threat they will respond by voting further and further rightwing to stop the threat. They don’t understand that their lack of moderation on issues like migration is unwittingly and incompetently encouraging extreme nationalism globally as a counter response.
The solution would be to sit down like adults and discuss this homeland issue on global diplomatic level to resolve it fairly for all. Unfortunately between the far left that slanders anyone that doesn’t subscribe to their global multicultural fantasyland as “racist”… and the far right that thrives on conflict and racism… the taboo subject has little public voice in mainstream academia, politics and press.
