We all grew up in mixed economies not pure capitalist states. If actually implemented, Rand’s version of pure capitalism, ironically like communism, would be the undoing of democracy. A state that cannot fund itself through taxation, cannot regulate, can not provide services, is no longer the state. Objectivism is tyranny framed as “freedom”
