The Jews of Israel are the only ethnic and religious minority in the Middle East and North Africa with the full right of self determination, which is why they take the stance that they do to maintain that.
The banner of Islam flies over 99.9% of the Middle East and North African land mass. This is why the tiny Jewish State has to take the stance that they do.
