Maybe you do not know this but Jews are a collective people with a connected history. They are allowed to question the existence of God and still be a Jew.
In my lifetime I have observed that when terrorists attack or kill Jews in Israel or anywhere else, they do not stop to ask if they are Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Mizrahi, etc. They do not care if they are pious or atheist. They do not care if they are European or Middle East Jews. They do not care if they wear a head covering or not. They don’t care if you’re on the political right or left. And they don’t care if it is in Jerusalem or in the streets of New York, Paris, London, or Dagestan.
