Witte – Russian Minister of Finance told Theodor Herzl:

But it must be admitted that the Jews do provide
reason enough for hostility. There is a characteristic arrogance about
them. Yet most of them are poor, and because they are poor they are
dirty and make an offensive impression. They also engage in all sorts
of nasty pursuits, like pimping and usury.
So that the friends of the
Jews find it hard to come to their defense.

What we have in Palestine today came from the ghettos of Eastern
Europe, a very poor and hungry people who were extremely hated by
the Christians of Europe who then landed in Palestine using
the ridiculous excuse that these white people were the Hebrews
coming home. These people should have looked at their faces and
realize that they were ‘returning home’ to the wrong place. By any
means necessary, the people of the region must be determined to get rid
of them because they do not belong there.
