Mythical? Obviously you have never read the book “The Historical Jesus” by Habermas. If you had, you wouldn’t make such an easily disprovable claim. There are early Christian creeds and statements of faith dating back as early as 30-50AD,. There are archaeological sources validating the events surrounding the details of events recorded in the gospels, There are non-Christian sources, as well as Christian sources that were not part of the New Testament. The evidence is so voluminous that Habermas is currently re-releasing his book in a 4 volume set to include everything that has been discovered during the last 50 years of research. And he isn’t the only such author. There is a recent update to Josh McDowell’s book “Evidence that Demands a Verdict”. The book is just under 800 pages and Chapter 6 (Page 143) explicitly details the primary historical sources attesting to the historicity of Christ…not all of which have equal evidential value; such as Rabbinic writings, The Quran, (Yes, it mentions Jesus), Roman historian writings such as Suetonius, Pliny the Younger, A Greek satirist named Lucian of Samosata, Greek historian Thallus, and MANY others. I’m not going to copy the entire chapter in this comment, but if you genuinely doubt there are plentiful sources, then read the books about this.
