Jewish population of Brazil 1900-2008
1. The source of this information is the American Jewish Committee archives.
2. They showed no Jewish population in Brazil between 1900 and 1905.
3. During World War II, between 1940 to 1945, we see a huge jump in Jewish population in Brazil of 70,750 – and therefore when the Jews were claiming that no country was allowing them during World War II and therefore that was the reason why they had to go to Palestine was a lie.
4. Between 1980 to 1985, the Jewish population of Brazil dropped by 50,000 and I do not know what the reasons for that were.
5. We do not see the Jewish population of Brazil going down after 1948 – meaning that the Jews who were living in Brazil did not go to what they call Israel.
