From the photograph, it looks a lot safer living in tents than in the mountains of rubble. Hopefully the Gazans will choose tent living over the expensive concrete, brick and mortar structures. The tent living will also facilitate mobility.
In the meantime, survival is the most important aspect perhaps. The non combatants seem to have understood how to survive the war. Essentially by maintaining their distances from the jihadi war apparatuses.
War takes a heavy toll not only on the belligerents, but also on the civilian populations of Israel and Gaza. It would be beneficial if all the non combatants could safely side on the sidelines, while the jihadis and the IDFers battle it out.
