Cease-fire is not part of the Hamas vocabulary. Conflict and war are needed for them to procure funding from jidadi sponsoring states like Turkiye, Qatar and Iran. Without triggering death and destruction, Hamas has little value to anyone. So the cease-fire negotiations are only to prepare for the next attack, as Hamas has promised more than once.
