It is an excellent outcome. Israel, which never abides by the rules of war and never has, would not have complied with a ceasefire so ordering one would be pointless. This ruling by the ICJ however means that the genocide charges will continue to be investigated and Israel will be forensically studied for any breach of the ruling.
