Hamas and the PIJ would be out-of-business if the fighting stopped. In order for Hamas to agree to a cease-fire, Hamas must win the war, by claiming total victory, through nearly all of its fighters entering martyrdom. Cease-fires are not in the Hamas playbook of holy-roller warring.
