Hamas is in no position to bargain. Prisoner swaps okay, but “right to return” is not going to happen, nor having Jerusalem as their capital. Besides, what is a truce going to do now? It is just going to give Hamas time to rebuild, acquire more munitions and money from Iran and get ready for the 6th war. Leaving Hamas in place is just going to start this war cycle all over again. One must remember that Hamas mandate doesn’t include the welfare of the people of Gaza, just the destruction of Israel.
