Hamas’ response should be to execute the Israeli prisoners of war as soon as “Israel” invades Rafah. “Hostages” are only valuable as long as someone back home cares if they are alive. Once they lose that value because “Israel” doesn’t care about them, then it is just a waste of food to keep feeding them.
