Perhaps your “multiple sources” could explain the social welfare role that Hezbollah has played for a long time in Lebanon. Many Lebanese Christians and other religious minorities that Westerners aren’t even aware of rely on and support Hezbollah.
The “cause of the problem” is not Hezbollah. They are an outcome of the problem – which is Israel and American hegemony.
