The Hiroshima city government has [invited] Israel to attend the 6 August annual “peace ceremony” commemorating the atomic bomb attack on the city. Russia and Belarus have been barred from the ceremony for three consecutive years over the Ukraine war,
Japan has assumed the role of servile Western lackey. The first indication was when they withdrew funding for UNWRA based on unsubstantiated Israeli claims of Hamas members working for UNWRA. Why? Because 12 European countries and US withdrew funding for UNWRA based on those claims!
Now, they invite Israel to attend a ‘Peace Ceremony’ while Israel is in the middle of a genocidal war on Palestinians. The irony is so rich and think it’s like Japanese cheesecake!
