In 1492 and 1496 when the Spanish and the Portuguese expelled the Jews, the Ottoman Empire were occupying only European countries but no Middle Eastern countries. Can you tell us why the Ottoman Empire would want to invite the Jews that the other countries were desperately trying to get rid of them? And how would they invite them? For example, if they were so stupid that they wanted to invite the Russian Jews, how would they do it? Would they send the invitation to the Russian government and can you imagine how excited the Russian government would be that they found a place to get rid of them? You have zero evidence that the Ottoman government were inviting the most hated people on the planet?
