The Houthis remind me of Saddam. Mother of all battles, death to America, yada yada. Then the reality of what facing the most powerful military that has ever existed in the history of the world starts to sink in as one target after another is destroyed in Yemen.
The Houthis, who are dictators in their own country while the lecture about freedom, are lucky the US doesn’t actually want an all out war. The US is likely just going to brush off all the Houthis attacks by simply selectively destroying Yemen’s military until they no longer have the ability to wage war. If the US wanted all out war with Yemen, it could turn the entire country into radioactive ash in less than an hour. Feel bad for those in Yemen who oppose the Houthis. They realize the Houthis are damaging Yemen’s international standing by engaging in maritime terrorism
