Re: ‘Human rights lost’ as anti-Islam party leads in Dutch election, says rights group

Religions practiced correctly are a cause for good, so I have no real issues with religions themselves . It’s the failure of the practioners that give them a bad name. Currently Islam is suffering greatly due to this. It’s gone from ‘The Religion of Peace’ to the opposite in just under 25 years. At times Sikhism resembles authentic Islam more than in Islam itself, if that makes sense. If one studies Sikhism then one can’t fail to be impressed, it’s no coincidence that every Sikh I’ve met has left a favourable impression.

What the world needs is inter-faith dialogue, esp. the three main monotheistic groups. They have more things in common than not, yet they’re prone to hating one another. Jerusalem should be a place where they co-exist and tolerate one another willingly and peacefully, thereby set an example for the rest of the world. The last time that happened was under the Ottomans, though I don’t hold nostalgia for those times since I believe in Atatúrks vision.
