If the UK government was genuinely concerned about the costs being incurred…they would simply stop supporting “Israel” and save those costs as well as make their citizens happier so there wouldn’t be as many protesting.
The fact that the government does NOT do that, says clearly that the government officials making those decisions have committed some types of politically embarrassing crimes that they are being blackmailed with. I have no idea whether Mossad has photos of them engaged in illegal acts with children or some type of financial fraud…but whatever it is, must be so outrageous that they are willing to destroy the relationship between the government and the citizens in order to keep it hidden. This, however, has consequences. The UK currently has such a shortfall of Navy recruits that they have an aircraft carrier sitting in port that can’t be used because they lack the staff to operate it.
When governments say “we don’t care about citizens”…the citizens say “we don’t care about the government.” The government can amp up the patriotic propaganda to keep things going for a while longer, but they are only delaying the inevitable collapse.
