I’m trying to square that assertion with reality. It’s been Hamas that’s running Gaza of late (supported by Israel to divide and weaken Palestine), not the PA, the PA’s corruption/weakness is particularly that it cooperates with Israel, and the PA has at various moments clearly wanted to make peace. Whilst there have been leadership issues on both sides, the wish for a Greater Israel encompassing the whole (or most of) Palestine which has been among many of the Israeli leaders (leaders in the broad sense) has been the source of sabotaging solutions. I refer you to for example Netanyahu’s boast caught on secret recording that he sabotaged the Oslo accords to prevent a solution happening.
