Re: ICJ: Israel must pay reparations to Palestinians

The ICJ ruling was a good first step, but it is not sufficient by itself. The ICC should use the ICJ ruling as a basis for sanctions upon “Israel”..i.e. start removing their legal protections one by one.

So, for example, they could give “Israel” an ultimatum…remove all “Israeli” citizens and military equipment from the land, sea, or airspace above Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem in 3 days or all “Israel’s” schools are deemed lawful military targets…then give “Israel” 3 more days and designate all of the hospitals in “Israel” to be valid military targets….then give “Israel” 3 more days and designate all of the Synagogues in “Israel” valid military targets…then give “Israel” 3 more days and designate all of the media organizations and staff to be valid military targets…etc. etc. etc.

One by one, “Israel” would have to sacrifice their ability to bring complaints regarding any attacks upon these forbidden targets, in order to maintain their war upon Palestinians. Ultimately, “Israel” could even be sanctioned so that their representative would no longer be allowed to speak at the UN, or vote, or eventually even be forbidden to enter the UN buildings. Then finally, “Israel’s” formal recognition as a state could be rescinded and declared to be a terrorist organization with no rights to territorial sovereignty over ANY land whatsoever.

The point of this would be to keep increasing the penalties until “Israel” either complies with international law or legally ceases to exist…whichever they choose. The Court would not need to enforce anything...they would simply remove “Israel’s” legal protections and then let any nation who wished, act accordingly with no fear of legal consequences.
