Hamas is a very hateful organisation and morally bankrupt after Oct 7, but the state of Israel (not the innocent civilians) earned their resentment. Adding to the controversy, ‘Bibi’ supported Hamas as a way of dividing Palestinians in the West Bank to those from Gaza, and to invalidate the two-state solution, which was the ultimate goal. Hamas provided the perfect excuse to forever disallow a free, independent Palestine state. That will never change if it were up to him.
