Maybe. But consider this: The SU-35 is more than a capable plane when against western counterparts and Iranian pilots have historically been rated extremely high. Basic levels of research easily prove both points.
Furthermore, these planes will be fully integrated into Iran’s extensive land based radar and missile defense system. And these are comprehensive Iran has S300s and now, S400s systems. Then theres their own indeginous systems which are quite good. You can argue that these systems systems have major Chinese components which they do, but either way, they can shoot down f16s and f15s.
These planes are a massive threat to anyone attacking Iran. Especially Israel with its tiny airforce. Yes, it’s big compared to Lebanon and other small neighbors. And big when bombing close locations where it can continuously go back home and re-ar. But Iran is a massive country (France,Germany and belgium fit inside), and Israel would have to travel far. Furthermore, Israel has ZERO bombers and there’s only so many munitions fighter aircraft can carry. There’s also the fact that Israel would HAVE to use aerial refuelers which would be sitting ducks for these SU-35.
Theres so much more but at the end of the day, if you don’t see how this is a game changer for Israel, negatively, well, you’re comprehension level is very low
For the US though, this news means nothing.
