Iraq’s priority is to get the US out – which they’ve already communicated to the US. Having the UN follow the US out the door ensures that Iraq ceases to be used for external proxy purposes.
Iraq can deal with Türkiye and Iran as neighbours and equals. Hard to do when you’re still essentially being occupied.
