It is a lot less work to use gravity and most important that those getting the short-cut were already deceased. When the jihadis came to power in Gaza, they did not wait until their opponents were deceased before throwing them off the rooftops. Probably many Palestinians saw their lives pass before them while falling. Cadavers free falling is acceptable, but live people … no.
