All the 110 expulsions happened after the Khazars converted to Judaism and none of them before that! The people who are today known as the Ashkenazi converted to Judaism in the 9th century and then they spread all over Europe and that was when the problems began. The Ashkenazi do not have a 2000 year history in Judaism because they did not become Jews until the 9th century.
