Over the millenniums many wars have been fought. Those on the losing side make even greater sacrifices than those on the winning side. Often there are only losers on both sides. But those that decisively lost the war, those sacrifices meant, loss of lives, of property, of territory and much much more. Some adapt to the new rulers, others never give in and continue the fight, at all costs. But to continue the fight, the combatants need to eat, need to buy weapons and munitions. Since these never-give-up combatants seem to be the great minority of the population, the challenge is from where to get the funding. Luckily there are big players, players much bigger than the combatants, that are willing to fund them, but of course, at a very steep price to pay. May all the fallen … r.i.p..
