Consistent genetic studies indicate definitively that European Jews derive from the Levant region. Phenotypically appearance is not a definitive factor in genetic origin. Additionally 65% of Israeli Jews are not from Europe but come from Jews that were ethnically cleansed from Arab countries including Yemen Iraq Syria Egypt Algeria Tunisia Morocco etc. Furthermore the legitimacy of Israel’s existence does not rest on 100% genetic purity as no people on planet earth is genetically pure.
