It is you that is misguided because Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Iran, etc, have been very honest about their intentions and keep vowing that there will be more October 7’s. Every rocket fired into Israel is an act of war.
Israel cannot guarantee not to respond to every act of war and war crime committed by these terrorists. Israel’s walls, fences, and legal weapons blockade is obviously not enough to stop the terrorists, therefore Israel has to protect itself at all costs. And it is our job to help protect our allies.
