A reasonable enough overview, Jamal. Although (from the brief overviews that I am able to find) Suarez appears to lay insufficient emphasis on:
1/ The very substantially in-majority Palestinian voices’ determination to arrive at their promised River-To-Sea unity and enshrined individual equality of voice & rank.
And 2/ UN Resolution 181’s with-hindsight-and-compromising deep element of flaw. As it on the one hand, properly recognised the truth of the ‘through unity, economic imperative’ – but failed to make any sound and equitable provision for the ‘non-Jewish native right’ or for the self seeking bias that would prove to guide particularly the hand of the USA.
