In the UNRWA situation, the employees weren’t just let off with a warning while they’re being looked into.
Nope, they were straight-up fired, and now they’re facing possible criminal charges.
It’s pretty messed up that it took someone from the outside to bring attention to these shady dealings. It really makes you wonder about big organizations like UNRWA and WHO.
They’re supposed to be these huge, powerful groups, but if they’re letting this kind of corruption slide, what else are they turning a blind eye to?
It’s a major red flag.
