10/7, although appalling, was not a genocide. It was a misguided attempt on the part of Hamas to take hostages to use as bargaining chips in exchange for thousands of Palestinians held by Israel without charge. 400 of those killed were Israeli soldiers as were many of the hostages.
Netanyahu has hijacked every opportunity to get the hostages back alive, including on October 8th 2023. He just wants to continue killing and to grab more land.
