Since several centuries Inquisition does not exist in the Peninsula and since centuries it has not been promoted on the contrary people are very critical and regret what happened. They went so far to offer the citizenship to the ones who could prove they were descendent from Iberian Sephardic Jews although five hundred years have passed since then.
