I am sure there were enough violations and injustice to go around on both sides. Don’t tell me five Arab armies had good intentions when they declared an immediate war on the newly formed state.
I saw it first hand in my own war in Vietnam. Both sides were committing atrocities. We know what happened in the first half of last century in the world wars, genocides, pogroms, in Europe, Africa, Turkey, China, in the Japanese Empire, etc. They all when on to develop their economies and all refugees were absorbed with he exception of Palestinian Arabs who are the only refugees in the world whose status is permanently inherited.
