Why on earth would Hezbollah target SYRIAN children. After all, NONE of the victims had ‘Israeli’ citizenship. Golan Druze REFUSE ‘Israeli’ citizenship. Like all Druze, they are loyal to their countries. Lebanese Druze are patriotic Lebanese, Israeli Druze are, for better or worse, patriotic ‘Israelis’. Golan Druze are patriotic Syrians, as is evidenced by the Syrian flags they wave at demonstrations they hold at the fence that separates them from their ethnically cleansed relatives. They are also loyal to their country’s president — Hezbollah-ally Bashar al-Assad. They also carry his photos to the demonstrations. Many of their ethnically cleansed brethren in Lebanon fight alongside Hezbollah in the Front for the Liberation of the Golan.
