The real collaborators during WWII were the Zionist Jews who populated the Jewish Councils set up to coordinate with Nazi forces the exodus of Jews from the ghettos to the camps. In this manner Zionist Jews delivered the Jewish community that was the leadership of the local communist party and unionists while sparing their fellow Zionists. In the Warsaw ghetto fight the 1st target of the Jewish resistance were the community’s Zionists and Jewish police. Marek Edelman, who survived the ghetto and was one of 4 commanders of Jewish resistance, details the specifics of these collaborators and the dignity that Jews achieved for themselves under unbearable and existential circumstances fighting both German and Ukrainian soldiers, who patrolled and attacked ghetto Jews, while also overcoming Zionist kapos from within in his suppressed book, The Ghetto Fights. The tactics that Israel is using on Gaza are precisely the tactics Germany used on the Warsaw ghetto. The very same: wanton destruction and starvation as a strategy. Not surprising.
